Hannelore Akkermans is a Project Manager Sustainable Tourism at ViaVia Tourism Academy, a centre for expertise and training in sustainable tourism and social entrepreneurship. It is part of the worldwide Joker/ViaVia hybrid network of social enterprises. She addresses pressing issues and tells inspiring stories in order to facilitate the transformation to a more sustainable future for tourism.
Iaia Pedemonte is a freelance journalist and founder of Gender Responsible Tourism www.g-r-t.org. Her goal is to increase, the numbers of women working in tourism and improve the quality of their work environment by connecting women with travelers, in compliance with equal opportunities and responsible tourism principles.
