ISTO hosted its General Assembly 2022 online with more than 80 participants!.

ISTO members met virtually on Monday 20 June to learn about the activities carried out in the last period, as well as to find out about the activities that are being prepared for the coming months.

With the participation of more than 80 people from all over the world, the General Assembly of the International Social Tourism Organization (ISTO) was held virtually on 20 June 2022.

The Assembly, which kicked off the 3rd International Week of Fair and Sustainable Tourism for All, was led by the President of ISTO, Isabel Novoa, who addressed the attendees with her words of welcome.

During the event, the ISTO team presented the Activity Report 2021-2022, which summarises all the actions developed by ISTO, its working groups and regional sections to fulfil the Action Plan 2021-2022.

On this occasion, the financial results of the period just ended were also presented, as well as the 2022 budget. There was also space to present and adopt the Charter on Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion of ISTO and to announce the events scheduled for the coming months, such as the ISTO Awards and the World Congress 2022.

The period that is coming to an end was full of exciting activities, projects and agreements. It is expected that the period ahead will bring new results that will be of interest to the sector of tourism for all.
