Network

Founded in 1946, the Secours Catholique - Caritas France is a service of the Catholic Church, and is member of the Caritas Internationalis Confederation and recognised as a public utility. It is a non-profit association which brings together a network of 60,000 volunteers. Its mission is to radiate Christian charity by the implementation of a concrete solidarity, in France and worldwide. They fight against the causes of poverty and exclusion, and promote the development of the human person in all its dimensions. They have different holiday projects.
These actions allow people to go on holiday, outside of their usual life, as families often live in situations of high uncertainty. It strengthens also the parent-child relationship. These families are accompanied by volunteers and staff during the preparation, the holiday itself and afterwards. All this is mainly made possible thanks to the holiday vouchers of ANCV.
