9 Mar 2022

Launch of the Erasmus+ ONAT4All project.

From 7 to 8 of March, ISTO participated in the Erasmus + ONAT4All kick-off meeting in Marseille.

The International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO), together with the Italian Chamber of Commerce for France in Marseille (CCIFM, in the French and Italian acronym), Predif, Controvento, Trekkify, and I&F, make up the consortium responsible for developing the project “Outdoor activities and nature and adventure tourism for all” (ONAT4All).

The CCIFM, as the coordinator of the project, was responsible for organising the kick-off meeting from 7 to 8 of March in Marseille, France. All the organisations involved participated in the meeting.

The project, funded by the European Commission through its Erasmus+ programme, will unfold in mid-February 2024. Its goals are the following:

  • To enhance the development and acquisition of proper and useful knowledge, skills, and competencies in the tourism value chain. To deal with accessible nature and adventure tourism and outdoor activities.
  • To foster personal autonomy of people with disabilities in order for them to fully enjoy nature and adventure tourism and outdoor activities.
  • To promote awareness of the importance of accessibility related to tourism’s digital marketing.

Over the next few months, ISTO will be sharing information regarding the project’s development. ISTO’s members will be invited to take active part in it.
