The Secours populaire français is committed to fighting poverty and exclusion in France, Europe and in the world and to promoting solidarity and its values. It brings together all kinds of people with different opinions and origins who wish to support solidarity. It acts independently by not judging the causes but by intervening on the consequences of the problems. The SPF is very attentive to the problems of exclusion: solidarity based on listening, food aid and clothing.
It accompanies individuals and families in their activities and their rights: access to housing, care, holidays, culture and leisure, sports, and professional integration. Respecting the dignity of the people we assist is essential, as is their mobilisation. All over the world, whether emergency, rehabilitation or development projects, the SPF works closely with local associations who are able to identify the needs of the populations.
