The Secretariat of Tourism of Mexico City is responsible for the development and promotion of tourism. Its functions include organizing tours, disseminating information, managing events and promoting tourist experiences. It also promotes social tourism and alternative tourism while strengthening the historical, cultural and natural heritage. It also promotes and encourages the sustainable use of tourism resources for the benefit of citizens.
