The NGO El Velah, set up in 1999, operates in various fields - agriculture, education, tourism - by supporting local operators through the promotion of their initiatives. It mostly carries on socio-economic studies and offers leadership, training and awareness services. The NGO is active in the solidarity tourism sector and organises eco-tourism stays in the Mauritanian city of Adrar in partnership with local cooperatives.
