Passionate about hotel management and the management of quality and sustainable tourism, He took his first professional steps as director of accommodation and events manager for Accor hotel group. Since 2011 he is the founder of Vision Solidaire International, an organisation that promotes solidarity tourism and international volunteering. His actions since 20 years aim at contributing on how to balance environmental, economic and socio-cultural benefits and concerns in social and solidarity tourism. Director of operations of the eco-tourism centre (tourism and environmental education complex) in Burkina Faso. President of the Africa section of the International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO).

She started as a regional manager with the organization in 2012. As the director, Gabriella manages a team of managers based in Brazil, Peru and Colombia, a group of ambassadors based all over the region (including Central America and Caribbean countries). She was born in Brazil but it is an US citizen. She graduated in Ecology and has an MBA degree. Gabriella has done many other specific courses and certifications on the subjects of safety management, guiding, service, quality, sustainability, human resources, among others. Gabriella has more than 20 years of experience in the tourism industry, from private to public sector roles, from guiding to managing companies, from organizing events, from training and speaking, among others. She is specialized in the Latin America & Caribbean region, have traveled, lived and worked in many different countries, speaking languages English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently, but has a global perspective accomplished from projects that she has executed globally and from working for a global organization, the ATTA.
